The new Durham College, part of the University of Ontario Institute of Technology is a successful example of a mixed-use development that integrates an office building, an above grade parking structure and an educational facility, into one building. With its location at the north end of our landmark pedestrian bridge is conveniently located just north of Highway 401 off Liverpool Road, with direct access to GO Train services and other public transit. This ideal learning environment for students accommodates approximately 300 students in one convenient location, it features four classrooms, a computer lab, student space, offices and a coffee shop. The new facility offers student lounge areas and include break-out spaces to facilitate group work. The site is also completely accessible.
