PETROFF has performed architectural, interior and urban design services throughout an extensive history which has spanned the past decade and three major upgrades. Responding to the changes in the marketplace and the demands of the competition, the Markville Mall, strategically located on Hwy 7 in Markham, now brings a dynamic street to the surrounding context.

The latest renovation brings more activity to the exterior faces, through the introduction of restaurants with “al fresco” dining, and a dramatic new food court with associated feature entrances. These additions create a more urban relationship to the surrounding area, and directly engage the Markville shopper by extending the experience of the mall to the exterior. This sophisticated renovation reflects the trend towards national brands.
