This PDC fresh food distribution centre is a state of the art facility that is a living lab of sustainability and includes our client’s first pilots for hydrogen fuel cells, solar thermal and wind power, as well as many other sustainability initiatives. One of North America’s most energy-efficient distribution centres, it is a first-of-its-kind facility and one of Canada’s largest refrigerated buildings. It serves as a hub for fresh and frozen food destined for 104 of our client’s stores in Western Canada, from Manitoba to British Columbia.
